You can still do Body-Con

Women over 40 are for sure still sexy, it just has to be in the right way. Don’t go for the short tight dress that shows lots of cleavage. Instead, opt for something that just shows off one of your sexy features in maybe longer hemlines and a higher neckline. Your dress can still show off your figure but don’t be ashamed to invest in some foundation pieces like Spanx to keep you all together!

You can still look boho chic

Nix the lacey crops and cutoff denim shorts better suited for Burning Man or South by Southwest and instead try a cute batik printe blouse with a great faux fur vest and layered necklaces. Create a long line in your outfit that will slenderize and try to avoid to many flowers, braids, or headbands one you’re mature enough to buy them for your own teenage daughter.

You can still do Street Style

We see it on fabulous bloggers and celebrities all the time, ripped to shreds jeans with heels and beautiful coats and white tees. You have to be careful because it can look messy and not flattering. Adjust the look just a tad by buying a great pair of jeans with a few rips in the right places, adding an oversized comfy coat like this Vince one from Neiman Marcus Willowbend and it is age appropriate regardless of how many birthdays you’ve had.
